Requirements

·         Aid clients with personal care activities, including bathing, skin care, back rubs, hair care, nail care, dressing and undressing, feeding, oral hygiene, shaving, grooming, and bedtime preparation.

·         Support clients with bathroom needs, including the use of urinals or bedpans, ensuring that incontinent clients remain clean and dry.

·         Aid clients in the self-administration of their medications, ensuring adherence to prescribed schedules.

·         Assist clients with laundry and perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.

·         Help clients with meal preparation and maintain records of their food preferences, noting meals they enjoy or do not.

·         Facilitate clients' exercise routines, ambulation, and transfer activities, while being mindful of proper body mechanics.

·         Understand, implement, and adhere to all information outlined in the Client Care Plan.

·         Conduct safety rounds to identify and eliminate potential hazards, such as wet floors or spills.

·         Report any safety hazards, including frayed electrical cords, unsecured handrails, and malfunctioning smoke detectors or carbon monoxide alarms, to management immediately.

·         Promptly report all client and employee incidents to a member of management.

·         Maintain accurate records of client progress and the services provided, reporting any changes in the client’s condition.

·         Practice proper handwashing techniques to ensure hygiene and safety.

·         Engage in respectful social interactions with clients, fostering friendly conversation and providing empathetic support.

·         Exhibit a positive attitude and behavior, consistently demonstrating respect for our clients.

·         Uphold the confidentiality of all client-related information, including details pertaining to their families.

·         Respond promptly to client needs and attend to them with care and attention.
